Prak-sis is a contemporary art gallery based in Chicago, founded in 2009 by Mi Yeon Kwon Katz. 
Founded as a nonprofit in 2009, Prak-sis became private in 2017 to further support its represented artists. Since then, Prak-sis has been dedicated to the edification of its collection, curation, and development of the Korean diasporic art consciousness. It is divided into two programs: a residency program for selected artists to develop new work, and an exhibition program providing visibility in the heart of Chicago’s historic River North gallery district.
